Prop ideas for the newborn sessions

I usually come to my client’s homes for the newborn photoshoots. I bring all the equipment and props with me. It works, because my clients can feel comfortable at the privacy of their homes and they don’t have to travel far with the newborn child. I do own a little collection of props that I bring with me, but I always encourage my clients to prepare something as well. Sometimes we get creative:) Here are few ideas.

Picking the location for your pregnancy shoot

There are so many locations in LA and nearby areas where I like to shoot. I would always encourage my clients to go somewhere to the park or beach or even some urban setting. Studio shoots can be fun, but we are so lucky with the weather and beautiful sunsets here in California, that it just feels wrong to put yourself in a room when we can go and have some fun outside.
